Certain that turtle candies could be improved, former Kohler Co. Executive Chairman Herb Kohler charged the chefs of The American Club® with the grand task of creating something better. Over 100 batches were sampled in the quest.Finally, Mr. Kohler found one that met his demanding requirements. This “terrapin” marked the start of Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates, which today offers the finest handcrafted ganache, bars, toffee, snacks, and brandies.
